Emergency Response covers an array of subjects from supply of resources, giving aid to all aspects of humanitarian efforts, active response before, during and immediately after a disaster. It's about people, pets, property and staying alive and nurturing families and communities until they can cope on their own again.
Emergency management, preparedness and mitigation have been in effect for centuries and sometimes require rapid response too and deployment of many people, resources and assets over multiple sites. Those emergencies that are more widely spread may require local Police, Fire, ambulance and Local Government to assist in the event of major storms floods, bushfires, heat waves, cyclones, power outages and drinking water contamination. They may not be able to help immediately with resources being spread so thin. Care for yourself, your family and neighbours first. Do you and your family members have your Go bags?
