Recovery

The road Home

The type of disaster will determine the time and effort required before people are able to return to their homes, receive further aid and resources to help on the road to recovery. This can take time and requires lots of patience. It will mean asking yourself and others lots of questions. How are the communities about my home? Is it safe? Are they rebuilding? What resources do I have to rebuild? Can I call on support from about the community? Is the structure safe to rebuild on? Does it need engineering assessment? Am I insured? Where do I start? These questions and more may come to mind; they are very pertinent and will be a great starting point for the planning of your recovery. Seek help as and when you can.
